KAMPONG Sungai Besar Mosque yesterday held a closing ceremony of Tedarus organised by Mosque Takmir committee and Muslimah of Kampong Sungai Besar Mosque.
The event was enlivened with a Khatam Al-Quran ceremony for 70 participants from Kampong Sungai Besar. The ceremony also saw donations for 30 orphans and 10 single mothers in the form of money and food.
Present as guest of honour was Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs.
