THE Ministry of Health (MoH) yesterday hosted a Khatam Al-Quran ceremony to mark the Nuzul Al-Quran this year and as part of its annual activity to enliven the holy month of Ramadhan.
Some 100 personnel from the MoH took part in the ceremony held at the MoH building in Commonwealth Drive yesterday.
It was also joined by Dato Paduka Dr Awang Haji Zulkarnain bin Haji Hanafi, the Minister of Health, as the guest of honour.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of Al-Quran verses by the Khatam participants, led by the minister.
It was followed by the mass recitation of the Takhtim and Dikir Marhaban, before a thanksgiving prayer.
