THE State Mufti’s Office yesterday released three books during a launch held at Darulifta’.
A collection of books entitled ‘Sayangi Ibu Bapa’, ‘Bahtera Perkahwinan’ and ‘Memartabatkan Seni Bina Melayu Islam Beraja’, was written by State Mufti Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Dato Paduka Seri Setia (Dr) Ustaz Haji Awang Abdul Aziz bin Juned.
Present at the book launch as the guest of honour was Dr Haji Mazanan bin Haji Yusof, Acting Deputy State Mufti.
The event commenced with a recitation of prayers, followed by opening remarks from the chairman of the event, Mohd Sofian bin Haji Basri, Acting Director of Administration at the State Mufti’s Office.

He noted that two of three books will be used by the Department of Curriculum Development as part of Malay Islamic Monarchy (MIB). It is compulsory reading for students and teachers from grades four to 11 nationwide.
The event also saw a speech by the guest of honour, the presentation of books to the Department of Curriculum Development, Ministry of Education (MoE) and a presentation of donations to the Public Library and the Higher Learning Centre.
