NUR Hidayah binti Haji Rosli was still inflight when she was picked as the grand prize winner of the Volkswagen Hari Raya Draw, earning herself a return trip for two to Dubai valued at $6,000.
The stewardess has purchased a Volkswagen Scirocco on June 22, opening for her the doors to enter the Raya draw.
Representing her at the draw yesterday was her mother, Fatimah, who told the Sunday Bulletin, “I am very happy that she has won, and I hope she will love this trip to Dubai.”
Meanwhile, second place winner Dr Lim Miaw Yen took home a $3,000 cash voucher, while Muhammad Azizul Hakim bin Khalid bagged a $1,500 cash voucher.
A full house of 150 customers who had purchased Volkswagen vehicles between April and June this year were present to witness the draw at the Maju Motors Showroom, the main distributor for Volkswagen in Brunei Darussalam.

Maju Motors General Manager Bernd Siffling, Maju Motors Managing Director Dr Chan Sui Kiat and Maju Motors Finance Manager Floriza Ayunan presented the prizes to the winners.
Bernd Siffling said, “We believe in giving back to our customers during this blessed month before the celebration in hopes that our customers will have a more enjoyable Hari Raya.”
On top of the grand draw prizes, Maju Motors also gave away $500 cash vouchers to five consolation prize winners, and $100 cash vouchers to 10 consolation winners.
