THE Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) through the Tutong District Police in collaboration with New Muslim Converts Association of Tutong District (PESATU) and Tutong District Volunteers Group (SUKA) handed over Hari Raya gifts comprising food and clothing to Siti Hajar binti Abdullah, a senior citizen currently living in a dilapidated house in Kuala Tutong.
The donation is intended to lessen the hardship of her less fortunate family and to help them celebrate Hari Raya more comfortably.
Present to hand over the donation was Superintendent of Police Haji Chipli bin Haji Mohamad, Tutong Police District Commanding Officer; Haji Hasbir Azrol bin Abdullah Liat, Chairman of PESATU; and Saifulbahri bin Haji Umarali, SUKA Member of Secretariat.
Also present during the ceremony was Haji Momin bin Haji Abdul Razak, Acting Penghulu of Mukim Pekan Tutong and Haji Murad bin Haji Abdul Hadi, Chairman of SUKA.

Currently, 67-year-old Siti Hajar depends on her monthly old age allowance of $250.
The mother of seven said that she is reluctant to leave the house because she is too attached to it and the land as it is left by her late husband.
Siti Hajar expressed her gratitude for the donation.
