GUESTS who included senior government officials and corporate associates from various industries were treated to a feast at DST’s ‘Social Media’ themed Hari Raya Open Office yesterday at the Jerudong International School (JIS) Arts Centre in Tungku Link.
Among the Cabinet Ministers who attended the Hari Raya celebration were Pehin Orang Kaya Laila Setia Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Rahman bin Haji Ibrahim, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Finance II in his capacity as Deputy Chairman of Brunei Investment Agency (BIA); Pehin Datu Singamanteri Colonel (Rtd) Dato Seri Setia (Dr) Awang Haji Mohammad Yasmin bin Haji Umar, Minister of Energy and Industry at the Prime Minister’s Office; Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Bahrin bin Abdullah, Minister of Development; Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports; and Dato Paduka Dr Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Deputy Minister of Finance in his capacity as Chairman of DST.
On hand to welcome the guests were Abdul Lattif bin Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Setia Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Yusof, member of the DST Board of Directors and Haji Suhaimi bin Haji Hussain, Chief Executive Officer of DST.
This year’s celebration theme was inspired by the trend of using social media tools for social interaction.

DST is also set to hold a series of Hari Raya celebrations throughout the month of Syawal including DST Hari Raya with special needs children and a Hari Raya celebration for corporate associates from the Belait District.
