PRESIDENT of the Committee C-Finance and Economy Affairs, Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, Virgilio Maria Dias Marcal made a courtesy visit to the Ministry of Development (MoD) yesterday.
Accompanied by his delegation, the president was welcomed by the Minister of Development, Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Bahrin bin Abdullah.
During the visit, the delegation from Timor-Leste had the opportunity to discuss development projects carried out by the ministry such as the National Housing Scheme.
A site visit to the Lugu National Housing Scheme project site was also scheduled.
Also in attendance during the visit were Acting Permanent Secretary (Administration and Finance) Haji Marzuke bin Haji Mohsin as well as several senior officers from the ministry, while the Timor-Leste delegation were accompanied by the republic’s Charge d’Affaires to the Sultanate, Erminio da Silva Pinto.
