FIREWORKS lit up the skies surrounding areas of Kiulap on Sunday night in celebration of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s 70th birthday.
Held at the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Silver Jubilee Park, it was attended by Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Seri Wijaya Pengiran Haji Ahmad bin Pengiran Mohd Yusof, Senior Assistant Chief of Adat Istiadat Negara with Haji Idris bin Haji Mohd Ali and Haji Mohd Sunadi bin Haji Buntar, the Deputy Permanent secretaries at the Ministry of Home Affairs.
The 20-minute firework display was sponsored by Pehin Kapitan China Kornia Diraja Dato Paduka Lau Ah Kok.
