THE Treasurer General of the Brunei Darussalam National Boat Race Association (PERKEBAR), Haji Abu Bakar bin Abdul Rahman hosted a Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration at his residence in Kampong Tanah Jambu yesterday night.
The event was attended by executive committee members of PERKEBAR, including the President, Haji Haris bin Haji Ibrahim.
The annual event aims to foster closer relationship among the members and to share the joy of the celebration.
Haji Abu Bakar recently said the association is looking to collaborate with any private companies to organise boat race championships.
“The association is also planning to organise basic coaching courses for local boat race team coaches,” he added.
