FITNESS Zone recently hosted its very first KONGA workout, in which around 170 people, including several members of the public, took part.
KONGA began in Australia as a part of ‘The Jungle Body’ programme, and was brought to Malaysia by founder and director Chen Wong, who was on hand to introduce it to fitness enthusiasts in Brunei.
A mash-up of boxing, dance, cardio and toning, KONGA is widely popular among women in the United Kingdom, Australia and Asia.
Chen Wong said, “So far, the responses in Malaysia have been overwhelming, and among our future plans are recruiting more instructors to make KONGA the next big thing in Bunei!”
In a press statement, Shelley Busque from Fitness Zone said, “KONGA is definitely is for everybody, and Fitness Zone aims to have more varieties of group exercise formats and programmes for local women, in fun and engaging ways.”
Meanwhile, Fitness Zone is inviting the public to attend a fitness event on August 28, which will cater to people of various ages and fitness interests.
