THE Ministry of Development (MoD) yesterday celebrated the new Islamic year at its Indera Pahlawan Hall at the Employment and Training Skills Test Centre, which was attended by Pehin Orang Kaya Indera Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Suyoi bin Haji Osman, the former Minister of Development.
Also present were Haji Muhammad Lutfi bin Abdullah, Permanent Secretary (Administration and Finance) at the MoD; Shahrom bin Haji Suhaimi, Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary at the MoD; Pengiran Kamis bin Pengiran Metamin, Acting Director of Administration and Finance in his capacity as the event chairman; department heads and staff.
During the event, staff performed a Tausyeh entitled ‘Repentance of a Servant’ and a talk on ‘Islam is the Religion of Allah From the Past until the End of Time’ was presented by Ustaz Dr Haji Ismuhadi bin Haji Abdullah from the Islamic Dakwah Centre.
