Pakistan Culture, Tourism and Food Festival ends on high note

PAKISTAN Acting High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam Ahmed Ali Sirohey led the closing ceremony of the Pakistan Culture, Tourism and Food Festival at the Theatre Room of the Brunei-Muara District Office at Old Airport yesterday.

The three-day promotional event showcased the delightful offerings of Pakistan, which included the country’s culinary delights and cuisines.

Similar events will be held in the future.

The exhibition included products and goods unique to Pakistan, among them traditional costumes and headwear, rugs and carpets, traditional games and toys and other household items.

The event concluded with a presentation of medals and certificates of appreciation to women that had participated in the exhibition as well as members of the Pakistan High Commission in Brunei Darussalam.

The women exhibitors included Rukshanda Rana, Sekar Alif, Anila, Hina Asghar, Shaista Zulfiqar, Huzema Bukhari, Zabiha Foroz, Shania Saher, Shah, Mahnoor, Hamida Ahmed and Laila Ahmed.
