DATO Seri Setia Haji Ali bin Haji Apong, Minister of Primary Rersources and Tourism, officially launched the 7th Brunei 7’s International Soccer Challenge 2016 at the Kebajikan Field of the Berakas Sports Complex yesterday morning.
A total of 32 teams are participating in the tournament divided into two categories and four groups for each category.
A total of 16 teams are competing in the Veteran Category.
In Group A are HM FC, Stoneville FC, Gabungan KSKA and Al IDrus FT. Group B consists of XN FT, IKLS Vet, Riwayat FC and Kingkaw FT. In Group C are FC Losso 99, B.O.B, PSJD and I.T.F. Group D consists of Mohais FC, Mix FT, Terazza FT and Wisma RSC.
A total of 16 teams are playing in the Grand Master Category.
In Group A are SM GC, XN FT, Terazza FC and HM FC. Group B consists of MBS Utd FC, Pondok 12, RSUC and Stonville FC. In Group C are Mohais FC, Eisma RSC, Al Idrus FT and Teruja FC. Group D consists of Satria Veteran, PSJD, Mevec Bukit Sari and KS Vet.
The top two from of each group qualify for the Cup.The bottom two teams play a knockout system for the Plate.
