THE three-day Green Festival 2016, hosted by Baiduri Bank, was launched at the Jerudong Park Amphitheatre by the Minister of Education, Pehin Orang Kaya Indera Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Suyoi bin Haji Osman yesterday.

Also attending the opening ceremony were permanent secretaries and deputy permanent secretaries from various government ministries, CEO of Baiduri Bank Pierre Imhof, senior officials from Baiduri Bank Group as well as representatives of local businesses.

The inaugural Green Festival is a holistic, wellness-themed event which encompasses financial, physical, social and emotional well-being.

“The Baiduri Green Festival 2016 is aimed to promote both healthy lifestyle and financial well-being.

“We want to do it in a way the people can have fun and at the same time, encouraging them to start thinking about the future, starting from financial safety,” Pierre Imhof told the Weekend Bulletin on the sidelines of the ceremony.

“We also want to show support to the local businesses here in Brunei. At the same time we would like to promote the green colour for the public to associate it with both holistic wellness and Baiduri Bank.”
