TWO officers from Religious Teachers University College of Seri Begawan (KUPU SB) participated in the Asean Teacher Education Network (AsTEN) 5th meeting of Presidents held at Cinnamon Residence Hotel, Bangkok. The meeting was organised by Kasetsart University, Thailand.
Leading KUPU SB to the meeting was Dr Haji Adanan bin Haji Besar, Acting Ra’es of KUPU SB.
The meeting was presided by Dr Ester B Ogena, Chairman of AsTEN.
Among the meeting’s main objectives was discussion on the activities that have been planned by AsTEN such as international seminars, research programmes and student exchange programme.

Among the institutions of higher learning which participated the meeting were KUPU SB, Philippine Normal University, National Institute of Education Cambodia, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris, Yangon University of Education, National Institute of Singapore Education, Kasetsart University and University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam.
The AsTEN is a network organisation that brings together institutions of higher learning in Asean.
