OVER 200 pupils of Taman Asuhan Kanak Kanak Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (TASKA YSHHB) were yesterday celebrated during a convocation ceremony and mini concert held at the TASKA Hall in Sungai Akar.
Themed ‘Jungle Book,’ the mini-concert was performed by young students, including the granddaughter of Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna, Ambassador-at-Large at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
YSHHB Assistant Managing Director II Haji Puasa bin Haji Jumat presented the certificates and prizes to the 215 students.
The event began with the entry of the Kindergarten 2 pupils into the hall, and the singing of the national anthem. A recitation of the Surah Al-Fatihah was then led by Ustaz Muhammad Nabil bin Haji Maidin.

In her welcoming remarks, YSHHB Kindergarten Assistant Principal Hajah Zainab binti Haji Abdul Wahab highlighted the importance of parent-teacher involvement in shaping the students physical, social and mental development.
The programme continued with a concert by Kindergarten 2 pupils from both the morning and afternoon sessions. They performed separate sketches on jungle animals in both English and Chinese songs before the mini concert concluded with song performances and the school anthem, ‘Long Live YSHHB School’.
