NATIONAL Insurance Company Berhad (NICB) recently hosted a tea reception to introduce the new General Manager of NICB, Klaus Tomalla at The Empire Hotel & Country Club.
About 100 guests attended the event.
Upon arrival, the invited guests were greeted by the management team of NICB.
The Deputy Chairman of NICB, Dato Timothy Ong, gave a welcoming speech and expressed his appreciation to the insurance agents, business associates and NICB team for their valuable and continuous support.
He introduced Klaus Tomalla as an insurance professional with more than 30 years of experience in the Non-Life and Life insurance industry, including managerial experience in Central and Eastern Europe including Russia, the Middle East, South Africa and India.

Furthermore, he thanked Kolja Klawunn, the previous General Manager of NICB, who assumed the role of Regional Manager of Operations Asia Pacific based in Allianz’s Singapore office and was also appointed as Alternate Director of NICB.
A buffet luncheon to introduce the new General Manager of NICB was also organised for their Insurance Agents and Business Associates from Kuala Belait, at The Swiss Hotel Apartment.
