A fire broke out early morning on Wednesday, causing major damage to a shop in Kampong Serusop
Mulyono, one of the workers who lived on the first floor of the same building was shocked after his neighbour alerted him to the blaze and thick smoke coming out from inside the shop.
He told the Bulletin that he rushed down to the scene and immediately made a distress call to the Fire and Rescue Department at around 6am.
