A fire broke out Wednesday morning causing damage to a house in Kampong Kapok Kanan, Muara. The house was owned by Hajah Siti Sharpinah binti Abdullah who lived with five other family members.
The Fire and Rescue Department received a distress call at 8.30am and immediately rushed seven of their fire and rescue personnel led by Fire Station Assistant Officer, Haji Kamal. Two fire engines from the Muara Fire Station were deployed to the scene to put down the fire.
