RESIDENTS of Kampong Tanah Jambu held a closing ceremony of Dikir Maulud at the Kampong Tanah Jambu Mosque on Sunday.
The event was held to mark the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
The Dikir sessions were conducted 12 nights in a row. A special religious lecture was also held to commemorate the special event.
A similar event was also held at the Mohamed Bolkiah Mosque in Kampong Serusop.
Present at the event was Director of Mosque Affairs at the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Ustaz Haji Abdul Rajid bin Haji Mohd Salleh.
Hundreds of worshippers joined the congregation which was held after Isyak prayer.
