TWO media representatives from Brunei yesterday left for Kuala Lumpur on invitation by Tourism Malaysia to participate in a Malaysia Deepavali Open House and the launching of the 1Malaysia Year End Sale 2015.
The Director of Tourism Malaysia in Brunei Darussalam, Zurina binti Abdul Samad said, “We are sending two media representatives from Brunei to experience one of our cultural festivals and at the same time, to participate in our annual 1Malaysia Year End Sale.
Taking place in two separate places, we hope to show Brunei a glimpse of the cultural festival in Kulim, Kedah as well as a visit to Pulau Penang, one of Bruneians’ favourite shopping choices.”
The trip is a part of the Malaysia Mega Familiarisation Programme 2015.
