THE journey for Progresif Cellular Sdn Bhd reached yet another milestone with the formal opening of its fourth flagship store yesterday at Supa Save, Seria.
Amongst the distinguished guests who attended the opening ceremony were YB Awang Haji Mohd Yusof bin Haji Dulamin, a member of Legislative Council and also the Village Head of Kampong Mumong; Hasmiron bin Haji Mohd Taib the Assistant Belait District Officer; and Dino Erzan bin Haji Aliadin, the Assistant Secretary to the Kuala Belait-Seria Municipal Board.
Paul Hyde, Chief Executive Officer of Progresif, said that the opening of the Seria outlet is a part of Progresif’s strategy in providing a service that is reliable, easy to understand and accessible.
“However, Progresif has invested heavily not just in technology, bricks and mortar, although this has brought valuable work to Bruneian building firms through building contracts, production of brand material, through to catering contracts for today’s event, but we believe our key differentiator is in the investments we have made in our people,” he added.

The event continued with a ribbon cutting ceremony to mark the official opening of the Seria branch which has helped created 11 jobs for Bruneians whom Progresif have invested heavily to become certified sales and customer care trainers.
The special guests were invited for a tour in the flagship store and were introduced to the features offered by Progresif by the Chief Sales Officer Bob Gill.
With the opening of the Seria branch, Progresif which is 92.5 per cent Bruneian has helped create over 130 jobs and invested over $500,000 in training the team in the last six months alone.
Also present at the event were Devin Edwards, the Chief Marketing Officer of Progresif, officials and staff of the Belait District Office, senior management, staff, customers and contract holders of Progresif.
