THE signing ceremony for the upcoming 17th Consumer Fair (CF17) between event organiser D’Sunlit Sdn Bhd and official partners of the expo took place yesterday at D’Sunlit’s multipurpose hall.
CF17 is scheduled to take place on January 27-31, 2016 at the International Convention Centre in Berakas.
Christopher Chee, General Manager signed on behalf of D’Sunlit witnessed by Senior Operations Manager, Ngu Tiing Siang.
The ceremony also saw the handover of the event shirts from D’Sunlit to the partners as well as a photo session.
The 17th Consumer Fair will house more than 400 booths of quality vendors offering a wide array of products and services from Brunei and other countries.
Interesting activities are also being planned for the upcoming event including the Tea Appreciation session from The Coffee Bean Brunei, daily challenges organised by Syarikat Perniagaan Malar Setia, and the Manhunt of Mr Brown by Aiking Trading Co Sdn Bhd which gives participants a chance to visit Chinese Taipei as well as an entire year’s supply of Mr Brown coffee.

CF17 will also feature the “Can YOU C Sairol” presented by Hui Huang Enterprise where participants stand the chance to win original signed merchandises such as Manchester United jerseys signed by Angel di Maria and Robin Van Persie, signed balls from Manchester United and a signed jersey of Sairol from DPMM FC.
The popular event will also see a blood donation drive to be conducted by the Laboratory Department of Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital on January 30, 2016.
The event will also feature two lucky draws where visitors can go take home attractive prizes.
The lucky draws are the Kopi Kapal Api Lucky Draw 2016 by Bintang Ria Sdn Bhd and the Consumer Fair Grand Lucky Draw.
And a good news for Doraemon fans; Japan’s famous anime ambassador will be in Brunei for his first-ever showcase in Brunei.
KindyKare International will also be at the fair once again to provide a day care centre for young children, allowing parents and guardians to attend the event with assurance that the children are in good, experienced hands.
The fair will be open to members of the public from 10am to 10pm daily, except on Friday when the doors will close from 12 noon to 2pm.
For the convenience of visitors, shuttle buses will be available during the course of the fair from the allocated parking area around the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium to the International Convention Centre.
