MINISTRY of Education (MoE) last evening continued its series of nightly Dikir Maulud recitation in conjunction with the Maulidur Rasul or birth anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
Joining over a 100-member dikir delegation from MoE at the Rashidah Sa’adatul Bolkiah Mosque in Kampong Sungai Akar last evening was Pehin Orang Kaya Indera Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Suyoi bin Haji Osman, the Minister of Education, and Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Bahrom bin Pengiran Haji Bahar, the Deputy Minister of Education.
The event commenced with the mass Maghrib prayer, followed by the recitation of the Surah Al-Fatihah led by the Minister of Education.
This was followed with the recitation of the Dikir Syarafil Anam and later the mass Isyak prayer.

The Dikir delegation from MoE will continue at Kampong Sungai Hanching Mosque on Wednesday.
This year, the event is organised jointly by the Department of Planning, Development and Research; Department of Co-Curriculum Education and Higher Education Division of the MoE.
The country will celebrate the Maulidur Rasul on Thursday, December 24, 2015.
