IN ENLIVENING the spirit of the Maulud Nabi procession, women from the Tutong District held a gathering yesterday under a religious theme.
The gathering was held at the Tutong Civic Hall Complex in Pekan Tutong yesterday.
Among the highlights included a special religious talk and Dikir Marhaban performance.
Present as guest of honour was Anisamawati binti Haji Osman, the wife of Acting Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Defence.
The religious talk was presented by Ustazah Hajah Zunainah binti Haji Gunong, Senior Religious Officer at the Islamic Dakwah Centre, Ministry of Religious Affairs.
Ustazah Hajah Zunainah during the talk, highlighted the benefits of emulating the character of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
The gathering was attended by around 600 women comprising government employees from various departments and agencies and representatives from Mukims and villages in the Tutong District.
