BANK Islam Brunei Darussalam (BIBD) yesterday handed over five First Emporium Group shopping vouchers worth BND500 each to its third monthly ‘Swipe for Rewards’ winners, a press release stated.
Present to give away the prizes was Hajah Nurul Akmar binti Haji Md Jaafar, BIBD’s Deputy Head of Consumer Banking. The monthly winners were also presented with the opportunity to spend BND200 worth of their vouchers in a special 10-minute spree at the Pertama Jaya Department Store along Jalan Jerudong.
BIBD’s Swipe for Rewards campaign, which automatically registers any customers who spend a minimum of BND30 in a single receipt using their BIBD Debit or Credit Card at selected partners, is now in its final month, and will end on September 30.
The selected partners are Sim Kim Huat Trading Co, Pertama Jaya Department Store (Lambak & Sengkurong Branch), First Emporium & Supermarket (Batu Satu & Sungai Tilong Branch), and Giant Hypermarket. Each receipt allows for one entry into the monthly lucky draw prize.

On top of that, the BIBD Barakah campaign, now in its sixth edition, will also be running until November 30. The campaign allows BIBD customers a chance to win a grand prize of a Honda Odyssey along with consolation prizes of Apple iPhones and iPads on top of its monthly prizes of electrical appliances. Registration is automatic and simple as all they need to do to join is sign up for any BIBD financing product or assign their salary to BIBD.
