MOHAMED Bolkiah Mosque in Serusop held its closing of Dikir Maulud in conjunction with the birth anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) on Thursday.
The Director of Mosque Affairs, Haji Rajid bin Haji Mohd Salleh, was the guest of honour during the event.
The Dikir event was carried out for the past 12 nights leading up to the Maulidur Rasul celebrations. The event was held to enliven the mosque’s atmosphere as well as to observe the nights leading up to the celebrations with remembrance of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
Also present during the event were officers and staff of the Department of Mosque Affairs, Ministry of Religious Affairs, as well as the mosque’s takmir committee members and village residents.
