THE Baraka Festival – a Muslimah Fashion Expo – is back once again for the weekend co-organised by ArtsyGlam and Shawlbyvsnow Brunei with over 40 vendors for visitors to choose from at the Tarindak D’Seni Hall of the Brunei Arts & Handicraft Training Centre in Bandar Seri Begawan from December 25-27.
As a collaboration between Brunei and Malaysia, the three-day event showcases a variety of favourite apparels and accessories, including items from Tudung People Brunei, JuniehK, Anna Noor Official, Smiggle Brunei, Noradlina boutique, Anggun Ayu Boutique, Bokitta Hijab Brunei and Naelofar Hijab Brunei.
Meanwhile, Malaysian vendors comprise of Faiz Boutique, Ashakarim collection, Forest Colour and renowned brands from Malaysian celebrities such as Mermaid Luxe by Liyana Jasmay and Sharabangsar by Puteri Liyana.
The highlight of yesterday’s launch was a special appearance by the founder of House of Doll, Nur Fazura, who is a well-known actress, presenter and singer in Malaysia who has also been appointed as the Ambassador of the Baraka Festival.

In an interview with the media, Fazura exclaimed her excitement to be in the country to meet with her fans during the event where she also felt honoured and humbled to be chosen as the ambassador of the festival.
The Malaysian celebrity also explained that this is the first time for her to participate in such an event in Brunei where she hopes to meet more of her fans.
Fazura also explicated the number of products that they have brought in under her brand, such as Muslimah Jubahs, Baju Kurung and the Mystical Body Mist by Fazura, which she hopes to introduce to the Brunei market.
The festival will be open from 10am to 10pm today and on Sunday.
