NBT (B) Sdn Bhd is hosting a roadshow, featuring the high-performance luxury Lexus F line, at Supa Save Seria in Belait District.
‘F’ refers to the word ‘Flagship’ and the Fuji Speedway, the chief test site for the development of the vehicles in Oyama, Japan, known for having one of the longest straights in motorsport tracks and for hosting the Japanese Grand Prix.
The GS 350 F Sport, RC F and NX 300h F-Sport are just some of the models that are being featured at the roadshow, which will come to a close tomorrow.
Members of the public are welcome to visit the roadshow from 9am to 6pm.
The Weekend Bulletin was recently invited to test drive the GS 350 F Sport and NX 300h F-Sport.
Performance of the GS 350 F Sport was notably tweaked even when already equipped with one of the most powerful base engines in the segment with 316 bhp (3.5-litre V6).

Switching it to Sport S+ mode from the initial normal mode, the vehicle’s suspensions become firmer, while its engine becomes more responsive. All this accurately illustrates the ‘Flagship’ feel of what Lexus was aiming to achieve in their design.
In comparison with the standard GS 350, the F Sport variation gets cosmetic upgrades for both the exterior and interior such as 18-inch alloy wheels, eight-inch LCD multi-display system as well as aerodynamic alterations to the body that match the demand of the ‘F Philosophy’ of Lexus.
For those who are environmentally cons-cious, they will be glad to know that the Lexus F line also offers hybrid models such as the NX 300h F-Sport, a compact SUV powered by a 194-hp four-cylinder in-line type, 16-valve DOHC, VVT-I engine as well as a 141-hp hybrid motor.
The main attraction of the roadshow is however the RC-F. How is it different from the F Sport? It is a vehicle engineered to fully comply authentically with the F performance.
Powered by a 471-hp five-litre V8 Four Cam 32-valve accompanied with an aggressive streamlined body and precise automotive technology (with the present 8 Speed Sport Direct Shift), the vehicle is the epitome of adrenaline rush.
