IT WAS a well-deserved moment for some of KACA’s children who achieved commendable success for their participation in the 2015 activities programme, as they were presented prizes for their efforts.
Held at the KACA Headquarters (Centre for Children with Special Needs) in Kiulap, the guest of honour, Dato Paduka Haji Zainal bin Haji Momin, President of KACA, presented prizes and certificates to the children who were active in participating in several of the activities for the year as well as parents who gave much support, encouragement and assistance to the KACA programme.
Six orphans were also presented donations and contributions from KACA and the generous public.
In a welcoming address, Haji Awang Abdul Alim bin Haji Awang Othman, the chairman of the event and the Managing Director of KACA, shared the schedule of activities for 2016 that included a working visit by parents, volunteers and staff of KACA to the association of the Special Needs People (OBK), Malaysia, the National Sports Fest 2016 and the Colouring Competition at National and Asean levels 2016 to fete the International Day of OBK on December 3, 2016.
KACA also wishes to thank the volunteers and contributors for their unwavering support and encouragement.
