Carrying the theme “Pendidikan Islam Teras Kesempurnaan Insan” (Islamic Education is the Core of Human Perfection), the oratory competition is aimed at promoting the importance of Islamic education on a regional level.
Among the objectives are to produce skilled orators and accomplished students from higher education institutes. Additionally, the competition acts as an incentive for students to deliver public speeches, and at the same time build ties among other religious educational institutions in the region.
This year’s competition, which is organised by the Student Affairs’ Division of KUPU SB, involves participation from several institutes of higher education in the region, and at least 10 institutions have registered.
