SOME 124 upper pre-university students at the Paduka Seri Begawan Sultan Science College (MSPSBS) of the 2010-2015 intake yesterday were feted for their accomplishment in completing their six year education at the college.
Present as guest of honor was Dr Hajah Zurina binti Haji Harun, Acting Deputy Director at the Office of the Deputy Permanent Secretary (Core Education) at the Ministry of Education.
The ceremony commenced with the singing of the national anthem and the college song followed with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Doa Selamat by Haji Mohammad Husny Bahry bin Haji Yussof from T2M class.
MSPSBS Acting Principal Hajah Hashimawati binti Haji Mohamad, in her welcoming remark, reminded the students to continue practising their knowledge and skills they have gained by focusing on the elements of religious education and moral values that show the nation’s philosophy of Malay Islamic Monarchy (MIB).
She also highlighted that ‘Iman’ and ‘Taqwa’ to Allah the Almighty should be a priority among the students to seek blessings from Allah the Almighty in their journey to achieve success.
The ceremony also saw a speech from Lim Chai Tze who spoke on behalf of the students in expressing their appreciation and gratitude to their teachers, friends and family members for their endless support.
