Religious ceremonies mark 22nd Civil Service Day

RELIGIOUS ceremonies were conducted at selected mosques nationwide last night to mark the 22nd Civil Service Day.

In the Brunei-Muara District, the ceremony was held at the Ash-Shaliheen Mosque at the Prime Minister’s Office Building complex where more than 100 senior officers and staff from various ministries attended.

Deputy Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office, Dato Paduka Awang Haji Abdul Wahab bin Juned, was among the congregation.

The ceremony began with a mass Maghrib prayer led by Imam Mohd Aslenan bin Haji Metussin of Ash-Shaliheen Mosque followed by the recitation of Tahlil and Doa Selamat led by Anuar bin Haji Salim, an officer from the Mosque Affairs Department.

The event concluded with a mass Isyak prayer.
