HIS Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday consented to hold a bilateral meeting with Luis Guillermo Solis, President of the Republic of Costa Rica.
During the meeting, His Majesty and the President of the Republic of Costa Rica discussed bilateral relations between Brunei Darussalam and the Republic of Costa Rica, and exchanged views on current issues, as well as regional and international matters of mutual concern.
The meeting took place at the United Nations Headquarters building in New York, United States of America.
Accompanying His Majesty at the bilateral meeting were Pehin Orang Kaya Laila Setia Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Rahman bin Haji Ibrahim, Minister of Finance II at the Prime Minister’s Office; and Pehin Orang Kaya Pekerma Dewa Dato Seri Setia Lim Jock Seng, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade II.
