FORTY-ONE teachers from the Lambak Kanan Primary School took part recently in a Khatam Al-Quran ceremony, hosted by the school.
The ceremony commenced with a recitation of the Surah Al-Fatihah, led by Ustaz Suhaili bin Haji Jelihi.
This was then followed by the recitation of selected chapters from the Al-Quran, and a Takhtim read by the school’s Year 6 students.
There event was enlivened with the Dikir Marhaban, which was accompanied with the sprinkling of scented flowers on the Khatam participants.
The ceremony concluded with a presentation of donations to seven orphaned children studying at the school, by Hajah Rosni binti Haji Taim, the Assistant Principal.
