TWO foreigners were sentenced to two weeks of imprisonment on September 5 after having been found to be in possession of a stolen vehicle and other items.
Both men were found during a joint patrol conducted by personnel from the Limau Manis Police Station and members of the Neighborhood Watch of Kampong Pengkalan Batu in the vehicle that was suspiciously parked at the Kampong Junjungan industrial area at 12.30am on August 26.
After an investigation conducted by a police immediate response squad, the vehicle was found to have two different plate numbers attached in the front and rear.
Following further enquiry, both foreigners were brought to court on August 27 and remanded for further investigation.
It was discovered that the vehicle was reported missing at the Sengkurong Police Station on August 22 and both men in custody were also found to be in possession of other stolen items.
