IT WAS a memorable trip for the special needs children of Pusat Ehsan who were treated yesterday to a screening of “The Good Dinosaur” at The Empire Cinema.
A total of 120 kids and management staff from Pusat Ehsan attended the 3-D animated comedy drama about a young dinosaur who overcomes his fears at the joint invitation of The Empire Cinema management and KFC Brunei.
After the movie, the children each received a KFC goodie bag and were entertained with an appearance by the KFC mascot, Superchook.
KFC Brunei also presented a $2,000 cheque as a contribution for the charity organisation.
“We are pleased to be able to contribute to a good cause, with The Empire being very supportive of the idea,” said Del Goh, the Vice President of KFC Brunei.
“This is an annual event for KFC and Empire, and hopefully we can keep doing it every year, to bring a little bit of entertainment and smiles to the kids.
“We hope that the children had a very happy and memorable time.”
Del Goh also thanked the management of Empire for being a strong supporter and contributor.
Donation boxes have also been placed at all KFC outlets so that the public can contribute to local charity organisations.
