THE winners of the recent “Are You HIV Aware” quiz are set to be announced tomorrow in the Borneo Bulletin and the Media Permata, following a draw of the their names at the Brunei Press Commercial Printing Services.
Organised by the Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC), in partnership with Brunei Press Sdn Bhd and supported by The Body Shop Brunei, the quiz was held to mark World AIDS Day, which is observed annually on December 1.
The quiz featured several questions on HIV/AIDS, including about the symptoms and how the virus is spread.
Ten winners were drawn randomly from hundreds of entries, and the lucky winners were picked by Hazizah binti Osman, the Deputy General Manager of Brunei Press, followed by Aini binti Asbinin, the Marketing Executive of JPMC.
The winners will receive their prizes – jointly sponsored by the Jerudong Park Medical Centre and The Body Shop Brunei – at a prize presentation ceremony in the CME Room of the JPMC at 2.30pm on December 11.

The winners are also required to bring their identification cards along to redeem their prizes.
The awareness campaign is a JPMC initiative in cooperation with Brunei Press, Borneo Bulletin, Media Permata and The Body Shop Brunei, and in support of the World AIDS Day.
