AS SCHOOLS prepare for the arrival of students in just over a week, Mubarak Book Emporium (MBE) is currently offering amazing discounts up to 75 per cent on school supplies in conjunction with Brunei’s annual ‘Salebration’.
The promotion is offered at all of its six branches in Brunei-Muara and Tutong Districts.
For this year’s back-to-school season, MBE aims to provide the most affordable quality products while offering huge discounts for its customers to have a worthwhile shopping experience.
MBE is also giving additional member discounts for their card members where they can save and collect points. The collected points can then be exchanged for cash vouchers. Every dollar is equivalent to one point and if it reaches to 500, members will receive a $10 voucher.
The higher the points, the higher value they can get.

Other than that, the company is reducing almost 30 per cent of the prices of Malaysian products available at the store such as magazines, books and stationery items to match with the current exchange rate.
“For over 40 years, we have created employment and we believe that that if people support the local business, it would be easy for us to support them,” said the General Manager of Mubarak Book Emporium, Hameem Mubarak.
MBE will also soon launch the ‘Mubarak Book Emporium online shopping’ in the near future and it will be one of the first local bookstores to initiate online shopping in Brunei.
As of now, MBE is working on the E-commerce platform and coordinating with courier companies regarding deliveries as they want to bring the goods right to the customer’s doorstep.
